Activity 5: Let's dance

September-October 2011

Aims and Objectives

In the first part children have to create a choreography to their national song and wear the proper national costume. With this activity, we would like to connect P.E to culture in terms of getting to a bit more about folk dances.  In addition, children are supposed to get roughly acquainted with the national costumes of the particpating countries. In the second part of this activity children can choose any other song of the partner countries and they need to create a create dance or choreography. It can be a funny movement/dance, e.g. hip-hop.
